This website is hosted with OpenAI Sites on Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting services process request information, such as IP addresses, request times and browser details, to deliver and secure the website. Essential security cookies may be set by this infrastructure.
Signing in
Sign-in uses GitHub only. GitHub sends us your public profile (your user ID, login and name) and a GitHub user token. We seal them into one encrypted session cookie that keeps you signed in for 7 days; we do not store them on our servers. The token is used only to read, on your behalf, the repositories where you installed Bracel and the checks on their pull requests; it can read nothing else, and GitHub expires it and lets us renew it while you stay signed in. Logging out deletes the cookie; you can also revoke access at any time in your GitHub settings.
During sign-in a second, short-lived cookie (10 minutes) protects the GitHub round trip against forgery. It is deleted when you return.
The assistant
When you send a message to the assistant in the app, your message, the earlier messages of that conversation, and the repository and check data the assistant reads to answer are sent to Anthropic, which runs the Claude model, to generate the reply. The assistant can only read; it cannot change anything in your repositories. Conversations are kept in your browser, separated by GitHub user ID, not on our servers. Delete them in Settings; signing out through the app also removes that account’s local conversations and cached data.
The model-backed assistant is not enabled on this public deployment. The data sharing described above applies only when it is enabled; scripted demonstrations do not call a model.
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and to manage your access. Ask us to delete it at support@bracel.dev.
